The Pakistan Higher Education Commission has awarded the university accreditation. It provides courses in various fields at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The institute has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management system from the Bureau Veritas Certification. Riphah International University, Islamabad is the seventh international campus of Quaid-e-Azam University and was founded in July 2001. RIU has been ranked among the top 10 universities in Pakistan by HEC during 2015 and again in 2017 it ranked as the seventh best university in Pakistan.
